Meet the Team...
Andy
Andy lives in the future; so much so we never really see him anymore. Whenever we think we know what we are doing, he points out that in five years no one will be doing what we are doing now. We think that might be a good thing, but then maybe he just means he will have replaced the Get Games A.P. with an Ap.
Art
When we said, let's get into Digital downloads, we all looked at Art and said, "That'll be easy Art, could you build us a site. Couple of weeks should do it." It maybe took a bit longer and Art continues to keep adding stuff but nothing seems to trouble him other than repetitive jokes about Polish food.
Derm
Has the unenviable task of making the Get Games team actually work. According to him this is like herding cats. Knows more than any one person should about relational databases and the aircraft that fought out the Second World War. Can pilot any flight sim going one handed.
Grim1
Still believes that Dune 2 on Amiga was the best game "like evva"; has moved on and will play modern games from time to time but likely to go all starey-eyed if someone mentions Red Alert. Suspicious of MACs and loud noises. No one at Get Games really knows what he does. Catch him @
Harley
Harley has turned his work station into an F1 Racing car. In between smashing lap times, Harley looks for new games to add to our site, so if you want to join us hit up
Jordan
When not playing around making Mods for HI2 or "trying out" Unity, Jordan makes sure that all the content on Get Games is 100%. League of Legends, Warhammer 40k Space Marine, Minecraft and Terraria, are filling the hours as he waits for HI2 Episode 3 to turn up
Josh
Josh is the Get Games designer and lady's (sic) man. OK, he's the designer. He has a huge MAC and considers PCs only fit for gaming. Mostly we agree on that as we would all rather just use our PCs for gaming
Louise
Louise is responsible for making sure that all the lovely developers and publisher get their hard earned cash. Which makes her the most important member of the team when you think about it. Louise refuses to take any of us seriously and it's hard to blame her.
Martin
Is truly only happy when he can send emails with the words "that's never going to work" included, before going off to build new installers, Exes and recompile code. His next self-set challenge is to turn the cloud into a jet stream because clouds are too slow. To our knowledge no one has ever seen him without his black leather jacket on.
Mark
Along with Art, builds the site and all the awesome IT type backend stuff that makes it actually work; he has to live with a world of constant change because we can never make our minds up what we want to do next. So far, we have not managed to make him shout at us, but it is only a matter of time. Mark future predicts problems and then laughs at us when we bang into them.
MarkE
With MarkE and his trusty Fowler's around we don't need spellcheckers in our lives. Often muttering under his breath about appalling standards of grammar and diction in the group, MarkE takes care of all our written words, e-shots, press releases and self-serving powerpoints. Lives inside the mind of an FPS sniper and is known to camp for days to get that one kill.
Simon
Simon lives in the world of twitter, facebook, google+ and RSS feeds. He communicates in a mixture of icons and text speak. He obsesses with rankings and SEO. Generally we leave him alone in his corner as he builds the Get Games community.
